What is API Usage Quota?

What is API Usage Quota?

An API Usage Quota defines the number of API calls your Plan allows within a specific billing cycle.

How Does API Usage Quota Work?

  1. API Quota:
    • Each Plan comes with a predefined number of API calls.
    • This quota resets at the start of every billing cycle.
  2. Usage Tracking:
    • API calls are tracked in real time, giving you visibility into your current consumption.
    • Notifications or alerts may be provided when you’re approaching your quota limit.
  3. Exceeding API Quota:
    • If you exceed your quota and have Overdraft enabled, you can continue making API calls with additional charges.
    • Without Overdraft, API access may be restricted until the next cycle begins or the Plan is upgraded.

How to Check Your API Usage Quota

  1. Log In to Console: Access your account to view the current quota.
  2. Navigate to API Usage: Click on the Top Navigation bar menu to Home, you can view your Usage & History to help analyse your past calls.
  3. Track in Real-Time: Monitor how many API calls you’ve made and the remaining quota for the cycle.
