How to enable or disable Overdraft?
By default, overdraft is turned off for new plans. If you need to exceed your monthly API quota, you can easily enable overdraft or disabled when not required.
Steps to enable Overdraft
- Login to Console: Start by logging into Console to access your Sandbox account.
- Navigate to Settings: Click on the Settings icon located in the top menu, then select Billing from the options.
- Scroll to the Overdraft Section: Under the Overview tab in the Billing section, scroll down until you find the Overdraft section.
- Enable Overdraft: In the Overdraft tab, toggle the option to enable overdraft.
- Confirm the Action: A confirmation tab will appear. Click Confirm to finalise.

What happens Next
Once overdraft is enabled, you can exceed your monthly API quota as needed. Charges for additional usage will be applied on a pro-rata basis according to your plan.
Steps to Disable Overdraft
- Log in to Console: Start by logging into your Console account to access the dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings: Click on the Settings icon in the top menu and select Billing from the available options.
- Locate the Overdraft Section: Go to the Overview tab in Billing and scroll down to find the Overdraft section.
- Disable Overdraft: Toggle the overdraft setting in the Overdraft tab to turn it off.
- Confirm the Action: A confirmation tab will appear. Click Confirm to finalise disabling overdraft.
What Happens Next?
Once overdraft is disabled, you will no longer be able to exceed your monthly API quota. Any API calls that surpass the quota will not be processed unless you either upgrade your subscription or re-enable overdraft.
