Sometimes your API calls might surpass your monthly quota, potentially leading to production downtimes. To help you stay on track, Console offers an Overdraft feature that lets you go beyond your quota when needed. You can enable or disable it based on your requirements.

Understanding Overdraft Charges

  • Additional API calls: Overdraft allows you to exceed your monthly API quota as needed.
  • Pro-Rata Basis: Any API calls made after exceeding your monthly quota will be charged on a pro-rata basis. This means you'll pay for the additional usage based on the rate specified in your plan.
  • Billing Cycle: Charges for overdraft usage will appear on your invoice at the end of your billing cycle.

  • Quota Alerts: You'll receive an email notification when your usage hits 50%, 90%, and 100% of your monthly quota. This helps you stay on top of your usage and avoid surprises.

  • Track Your Usage: You can monitor your API calls in real-time to ensure you stay within your budget.
