What is Wallet?

Wallet is a virtual bank account that you can use to deposit and withdraw funds. The available balance can be used to pay the Wallet Charges applicable on Paid APIs.

  • Balance: Your wallet balance reflects the available funds for API calls and gets updated in near real time. There’s no expiry on the balance and automatically carry forward to the next billing cycle.
  • Statement: Track all credit and debit transactions in your wallet for complete transparency.

What are Wallet Charges?

  • Every successful API call deducts quota from your plan.

  • For certain APIs, additional fees (on top of quota usage) also apply. These additional fees are called Wallet Charges.

  • Wallet Charges are deducted from your wallet balance. ðŸ’¡ Understand wallet balance.

  • To keep the process efficient, Sandbox aggregates these charges daily and debits them from your wallet in one transaction at night.

💡 Example: If you call a paid API 100 times in a day and each call carries a charge of ₹0.50, then ₹50 will be debited from your wallet at the end of that day.
